Now Scheduling for the 2018 Summer Reading Program
Handersen Publishing author/illustrator/musician Tevin Hansen is scheduling shows for the 2018 Summer Reading Program.
Tevin Hansen has been writing and illustrating books for 10+ years. His books tend to run on the humorous side and have characters such as skateboarding zombies, talking thumbs, and cynical young kids who are transported to other worlds. He also has a theatre background which makes the storytelling part of each show a lot of fun.
Tevin has been playing the guitar and writing songs for 25+ years. All of his songs are original, upbeat and rockin'. While the songs are fun, the lyrics also deal with topics such as bullying, communication, getting along, and being comfortable in your own skin. Most of the songs for this year's presentations will come from his new album, "Hey, Kid!"
Music and storytelling go together so well, and allow me to jam-pack each show with a ton of audience involvement, silly movement and rockin' fun that shows kids that libraries (and authors) really can rock!
Type of Show
45 minute performance will include a brief introduction, a reading/storytime from one of Tevin's many books for young readers, and ending with a mini-concert! Audience participation throughout with props and musical instruments allows kids to become part of the show!
Each 45-minute performance is $200 with discounts available for multiple bookings.
Tevin is located in Lincoln, Nebraska but can travel nationwide. Additional costs for travel expenses will be added. Multiple bookings will reduce travel costs.
